is that what they think? Well i grew up in phoneix,AZ and its the 5th largest city of the United States, so to answer your question... no is not desolate, though the heat is at time unbearable.
I now live about 100 miles south, in tucson, AZ where the population is about 500,000. And its a lot smaller than phoenix, but again not very deserted. There are some places that are SUPER HURTING. But i just stay within the city limits. As far as Mccain's loss, it was glorious, my LB and i toasted to him winning AZ vote, but loosing The general election.
