Driving, from Alaska to DC? Seriously? Flying would actually be cheaper. How about the politicos from Hawaii? Should they be driving, too? Or maybe a boat to mainland, and

I'm going to stand by my statement that most people involved in politics would consider private transportation part of the perks of the job.
