My throat is so sore, it feels like someone has their hand around it! It hurts to swallow on the left side. I tried cough drops, warm tea with honey and even vitamin C, but nothing's working!  Any remedies?

Chloraseptic spray? It tastes NASTY but it will numb the "feels like I'm swallowing razor blades" feeling. If that doesn't work - bourbon.

Nooo I was doing so well but overdid it this week. I should have just stayed home on Tuesday. My ears and throat are are fire and I'm coughing a little. If I don't drastically improve by tomorrow, I'm going to the doctor's.

I am STILL sick! I missed work Friday, Monday, Tuesday and today. I went to the doctor yesterday and they took me off Augmentin and put me on Levaquin. It scares me to be using such a strong drug but thank goodness I'm finally feeling better!

Augmentin makes me ill beyond belief, but Levaquin worked fine.
