How did I forget Diff'rent Strokes & Dark Wing Duck? Those are two phenomenal songs.
Let's not forget Tail Spin & Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers!
Also, I think I can listen to the theme from Star Trek: Voyager forever.

Salute your shorts!
I'm personally a big fan of Three's Company, because you don't know one of the lines but it's still stuck in your head so you have to sing it, Golden Girls, and the Muppet Show.

I guess saying 60 Minutes would be pretty boring, eh? How about The Beverly Hillbillies?
When I was little, I loved the opening of the Bugs Bunny Show.

The Muppet Show:
It's the Muppet Show with our Very Special Guest Star, ...
It's time to play the music
It's time to light the lights
t's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight.
It's time to put on makeup
It's time to dress up right
It's time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight.
Why do we always come here
I guess we'll never know
It's like a kind of torture
To have to watch the show
And now let's get things started
Why don't you get things started
It's time to get things started
On the most sensational inspirational celebrational Muppetational
This is what we call the Muppet Show!

I don't know if any of you will remember this but there was a show on when I was a kid called The Courtship of Eddie's Father. It was about a single dad (widow) and his son. The theme song gets stuck in my head now and then, I don't know why it sticks after all these years:
People let me tell you 'bout my best friend,
He's a warm hearted person who'll love me till the end.
People let me tell you 'bout my best friend,
He's a one boy cuddly toy, my up, my down, my pride and joy.
People let me tell you 'bout him he's so much fun
Whether we're talkin' man to man or whether we're talking son to son.
Cause he's my best friend.
Yes he's my best friend.
(scat finish).

I'm late to the game, I think most of the ones I would have said have already been mentioned, though I don't think I saw "Happy Days" (Sunday, Monday, Happy Days...). There were also some classic "no words" theme songs to some great 80s shows I loved like Miami Vice, Hill Street Blues, LA Law. I loved TV in the 80s. I also loved Roseanne's opening music (good early 90s TV).

I just got into Voyager recently-however, I was 1st chair alto sax in middle school! I did love me a french horn (and trombone) though!
ETA: Backyardigans is the jam in my house! And we don't even have any kids under 9!

I am human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does
See I've already waited too long
And all my hope is gone.."
