The last time Iowa beat a top 10 team was 2004. Iowa was rated in the top 5 as recently as 2003. Jesus Christ - you seriously don't know much about football . . . Like Appy State? I mean, according to computer projections, Iowa is
either a top-25 team or
just outside - it's not an embarrassing loss for the Lions, on the road in tough weather conditions in a pretty tough place to play.
The only way in which it could be considered a "bad" loss was that Iowa tried to give them the game multiple times, and PSU just didn't close it out in the second half. That happens, and that's why it's so hard to go undefeated in modern college football in the 88-scholarship era.
