Big F.Y.I... don't think it was mentioned on here already, but Lauren Conrad (L.C.) will be on the season finale of Greek, Oct. 28. I don't know if that is good or bad...

Wow.
Hopefully it's some sort of lesbian scene with rebecca.
Rebecca turns against the heterosexual life style after her dad hurt her so bad with prostitute ring. Of course, I suppose it could be like a male prostitute ring or something.

you thought so? i thought she was being same ol her. i hope she breaks out this season. maybe she and Casey will have a throwdown?
and did anyone else think that Frannie/Evan kissing in public was totally sloppy on their part? does every part of the script have to come to light? i was totally ok with that storyline being on the DL, for a while longer at least.
and yeah, i'm really wondering how Rebecca staying in the house is going to play out. I'm really over her antics as "the senator's daughter," as Ashleigh put it.
ETA: i too am not a fan of the Frannie/Evan storyline, like OTW. it was totally predictable, yes. but at the very least make it interesting, not just some "ooh look at us hooking up on the sly and now going public about it and now we expect Casey's life to crumble just a little bit more."
Frannie just needs to graduate with her supersenior self.

I totally agree!! I don't understand why every little thing has to come to light so early. They couldn't even let the Frannie/Evan thing progress more than one episode before revealing it (and by that I mean, revealing it to Casey). I would have liked to see it stay on the DL, makes it more entertaining that way.

I think they are setting up dynamics. They are putting Franny and Evan bag on the dark side, after they tried to enlighten them last season. You also have a big beginning to draw new people in.

... except, as a junior(?), she'd be 20-21. hopefully 21 since they have her drinking like a sailor.
if Rebecca needs to get a backbone, then Casey is queen invertebrate. a good portion of her identity is based on who she dated. and then that remaining portion of her being ZBZ.
... unless that's the whole point. do chicks really go through 4 years of school being Sally, girlfriend of Tom, Dick and Harry, XYZ member?
yay on Rusty sticking out his major! but BOO on that spring break guy storyline. fell totally flat. it had so much potential.

So maybe it's just me, but I'm loving this season. Frannie's power play tonight could have been written as something that happened in my chapter. No not changing national by-laws at Convention, but still so reminiscent of my collegiate days. There were definitely AMAZING moments, but this show nails some of the struggles within Greek houses. At least it does from my point of view.
Love that they didn't gloss over the removed President detail either. They're doing a good job of keeping some things right on point.
Also liked that Casey recognized Lizzie was a good sister, despite her "effervescence" and helped her out.

I agree! I thought it could have been great. Instead they have Casey talking to the nerdy but kind of cute RA... not sure I dig it yet.

he's a lot hotter as the summer school teacher from the 70s on "Swingtown" that starts dating his student. Without his shirt on, I think you'd forget the nerdy part

I said that because of the OBVIOUS foreshadowing when she went out and screamed to rebecca that she is not just casey's sidekick.

no, i got what you were saying. but i didnt see ashleigh's blow-up in response to the "sidekick" comment as any foreshadowing.
lemme come back to this, ill rewatch the scene even.
ETA: i stand by my original statement. she couldve went way the hell off on rebecca. though it doesnt mean she wont go off re: being a sidekick later on.
i just want a storyline fully around her, independent of casey.

I saw it as foreshadowing because we have never seen Ashley purposely separate herself from Casey, as she tried to when she yelled at Rebecca as Rebecca stormed out of the ZBZ house. I like Casey, but I would really like to see Ashley get the guy in this next episode.
