Don't know where else to post this, but just got a text message from my 14 year old daughter, who is on vacation with her (very Republican) dad, saying "I really like Obama, can we go to the next democratic convention?" I love that kid!

A girl after my own heart -especially being a daughter of a "very Republican dad" myself!

I'd probably be just as excited if she was liking McCain instead. I love that she's into the political process and can cite reasons for why she would vote the way she would vote (above and beyond "I like him") She has her own thoughts and ideas of how things should be. I did point out to her that she'll be able to vote in the next presidential election and she texted back "I know! I'm so EXCITED!"

You must not be reading/watching the news... Your comments are quite naive.

1. On Larry King tonight, political commentator & radio host, Larry Elder is black and can't stand the man! Ooh, and there's plenty more African Americans anti-Obama on Fox News...Condolezza Rice, Michael Steele, Ken Blackwell, etc.

2. Sylvester Stalone, Steven Baldwin, Jon Voight, Angie Harmon, Daddy Yankee, Kelsey Grammer, Gary Sinise, Craig Nelson, Dean Cain, Tom Selleck, Lorenzo Lamas, Heidi Montag (lol), John Cryer, just to name a few.

Ken Blackwell couldn't win the black vote in his home state. The problems isn't that he is a republican, he is a far-right republican. When he ran for governor, the results were nearly a joke. As far as I'm concerned, having Blackwell's endorsement is a "so what".
