I worked at a sleep away camp in the Berkshires in Mass. in college (as an aside, there were a LOT of greek women working there as well!) and the older the girls were the more activities they did outside of camp. The $1000/wk is probably the cost for just being at the camp and then the activity fees are on top of that. One of the parents told me that the oldest girls (15 year olds) could be over $20,000 for the summer... 8 weeks. Not cheap.
