Are you also a dues paying alumni member of your GLO? If so, does that mean you pay dues only to your local alumni chapter or you pay separate local and international alumni dues to be considered an active alumna? If you are not a dues paying alumni member, why not?

I know that AOP, DDD, DC and SC have Life Loyal programs and I'm sure there are more. If your GLO has a "Life Loyal" type program, are you a member? If not, why not?
I am involved with ZTA at the local level as an alumnae. I am dues paying member to my alumnae chapter only. I currently serve as the Historian and the collegiate relations chair for my alumnae chapter. I started off informally as the collegiate chair only. We simply had a need for the office, and I was delegated most of the tasks. When we made the move from club to chapter this spring, (woo-hoo!) we were required to increase the number of offices, which means that I and another sister picked up double duty. Neither one is a huge position, so I am able to accommodate both nicely. Zeta does have a program called ZTAlways, which is more like an online alumnae chapter, which many sisters in places without organized groups participate in. However, I do know of some sisters that pay dues to both ZTAlways as well as a alumnae chapter.

Because I transferred schools, I only got to spend one year with OPA (one semester as a pledge, and the 2nd semester as an active sister). I am trying to be as active as I can as alumni. I will be writing chapter spotlight articles for OPA's quarterly newsletter. I've also just been appointed a Director of Alumnae Activities (DAA) for District 8 of OPA!

I have been activley inovolved for over twenty years. I am the Reccomendation advisor for my community. I assist any chapter in the state that needs assistance with recruitment. I am active in our local alumni chapter. I stay active because I enjoy the experience of sharing the ideals and values of the sorority and the joy of watching all the new members grow. And hey, they say activity keeps you young.
