I'll tell you something UofA fraternities do to keep people. Have kids sign fake bid cards that look real. Play them as real and tell them no differently. They feel psychologically tied to you but have no real official connection. Rip the bid cards up shortly after. Make sure they sign it with a few of their buddies so they're psychologically tied to each other with the fraternity.*
