Funny that a lot of the pics I'm seeing on the 'net, for this story, are of people who are not of typical collegiate age...but much older.
My son thought is was funny (but good pr) that their club was on the cover of the paper because the bar is strictly 21 and over.

They don't want the 18 and up group in there because
a)they tend to cause the most issues
b) they are trying to be more "upscale"
and c) the youngsters don't tip well.

Most of their clientelle are professionals, people employed at the uni and others who work in Gainesville. The exciting thing is that many old "Gator" players, especially basketball, have been frequenting the club. My son calls my middle son, who is a walking sports encyclopedia, to report who's in the club It's a nice/fun place...

Back in the old days when Greek Week was sponsored by Miller, West Georgia recycled more cans and keg stickers than any other college in the country.

My neighbor went there in the 50s, and it was known as a party school back then too. Some things never change.

My cousin's daughter is going there in the fall; no one is quite sure she will last it, and the reputation

Mrs. DA and I were there in the 60's and oldest daughter graduated from there in 1999.

Yep, it was known as a party school then, too.
