I too loved Gloria Vander. jeans. I had the ones with a swan stitched in blue on the back plus a matching blue G.V. shirt-I lived in that outfit in 5th grade; I also had a gazzilion Jordache and C.K. jeans. In 8th grade Guess came along and I begged my mom for a pair-she finally got me some for Christmas and I wore them forever. I even wore them through college ( luckily I stayed the same size from middle school to college-that is not the case now at 30
) . Now I prefer Levis, Gap and Express jeans. I have barely any hips or butt so these brands fit me the best.
