It's pretty craptastic so far. I'm only watching the first episode out of the curiosity factor.
The picture quality is also horrendous.

I'm trying to like this show, b/c I loved the old 90210... but so far haven't seen anything that makes this show any different than the 100 other teen dramas on TV.

Plus, it's over the top like Degrassi is. I love melodramatic teen angst shows. Sorta like Melanie told Kathleen in Classic Degrassi:

I really liked the first hour. They had some funny nods to the original....like Hannah Zuckerman (Andrea's kid) being the school news anchor and looking like a 30 yr old, just like her mother. The Degrassi girl is a bit too "extra" for me, but cute. The rest of the cast is good. Loved Shannen and Jennie's cameos. The grandma is hilarious. The second hour fizzled out, but I'll give the show a shot. Btw, Dixon (the black guy) isn't gay. He was talking about girls and checking them out at the party and the porn shoot.

oh, and in the scenes for the next episode... I think Kelly was arguing with her mom and said something about "I'm not going to let you ruin her life like you ruined mine" (or something like that) ... were they talking about her half-sister, Erin? (the baby Jackie had with David's dad Mel) Is she going to be one of the HS kids?
