Our version was a little different but the basic idea for the song, no matter what the lyrics are, is to stand around in a circle passing this goblet and clapping as you sing. Here's how we sang it:

Oh pass the loving cup around
Don't pass a sister by
We all drink from the same old cup
In Alpha Omicron Pi
Oh you and I will never grow old
While this fair cup is nigh
There's wealth there's health there's life there's LOOOOOOOVE
In Alpha Omicron Pi!

We usually did it at our rose ball or at other sisterhood events where there was something to celebrate. I attended an AOII wedding a few years ago where the sisters were all from a chapter different from mine, and they sang it slightly differently--I can't recall if the bride did anything special. But she actually had us go into a separate room away from the main ballroom and other guests--she had it as part of her special day to do this with her sisters. We were called off the dance floor to join her. Very nice.
