I would suggest doing your homework on each chapter then possibly considering informal recruitment-- a "hush-hush" recruiting session held after formal fall recruitment and in the spring. You will have less "competition" from the freshmen girls and possibly have more opportunities to share your unique and valuable life experiences. Informal typically attracts fewer girls and you can choose which houses YOU would like to visit. I joined my house through informal recruitment and avoided all of the "formal" stress but missed the excitement. Best of luck!
