The guy who fitted her had walked another woman in the same dress down a red carpet! When she brought up the subject of the dress being previously worn, he said NOTHING.

I think it's the exact same dress and the designer said it was one of a kind.
haha...not the end of the world but I'm sure Parker paid a lot of money for it and that doesn't make the designer look professional.

But men who rent tuxes are wearing hand-me-downs. http://www.usmagazine.com/sarah-jess...shion-designer
Turns out the dress was worn 3 times. Better have a helluva dry cleaning bill and not just Febreeze.

Ya know, some of my maturely opportunistic (30-50 yo) male acquaintances went to see this movie. They were the only men in the theater, as they expected to be, with a theater full of grown women. Many of the women were gorgeously dressed and single. They had a wonderful evening, if you know what I mean.

 | Typically (not always), designers lend dresses to celebs. I'm sure SJP rarely pays for her red carpet duds. But, I agree that she should be upset.

I saw the movie again tonight, this time with my mom. What's so weird is that I never noticed the first time I saw the movie that Sam wore the ring on her engagement finger.

Red Carpet premiere episode and most of them made it very clear that the dresses has been given/loaned to them. One of them even said she was planning on having the dress back by midnight. LOL.

It's basically all PR for the designers. What Nina Ricci/Olivier Theyskins did (or their peons, I guess) was in extremely bad taste. Though God knows I love his designs.

I was gonna say I didn't know you were from Austin, but I guess they have locations in a few other Texas cities now.

Another reason Texas is the best - Alamo Drafthouse!

Love, love, love Alamo! For popular movies, get your tickets on-line (it's the only way to go!)
And am I the only woman on the planet totally immune to the supposed charms of SATC, the show and the movie?
