The real question is, when are we going to stop feeling shocked by the gas prices?

They showed a funny piece on the news of people complaining about how expensive gas was.. how are people going to make it with prices that high, on and on. Then they revealed that the piece was when it went over $2 for the first time. Who wouldn't be doing a happy dance for $2 gas now?

I don't think that will ever happen. There was an article on CNN mobile that said most people think gas prices will "stay around the same or get higher" in the near future. Every other time that question has been asked in the past, consumers said it would eventually go back down b/c that's what it has always done before.

I wouldn't be surprised to see $5-$6 regular unleaded in the future.

I drove to work the other day and thought to myself, I need to fill up my tank pretty soon.....As I was driving to work, gas was 3.71, as I drove home it was 3.81!

The next day it was 3.91 at the same station!
