Would it be different if the fraternity in question came back after 5 years and still owned their house (assuming the chapter house was at least on par with the rest on campus)? Would their old reputation be more likely to follow the colony members or would they still have to "prove" themselves?

pm'd you.

Another thing you are seeing more these days. A lot of chapters are getting booted for hazing. Stay off for at least 5 years. Come back on, but with nationals all up in their cool-aid and on a strong "no hazing / let anyone in" kind of stance.

That will knock you down a few tiers right there.

That's true...

But once the nationals are off the radar...it just comes back it often a more subdued form, from what i've seen.

Because when something bad happens in a really big car – accidentally speeding through the middle of a gang of unruly young people who have been taunting you in a drive-in restaurant, for instance – it happens very far away – way out at the end of your fenders. It's like a civil war in Africa; you know, it doesn't really concern you too much. - P.J. O'Rourke

I love the tier discussion!

There are chapters at each campus that are stronger than others. Agreed, but for how long and each year?

So, can anyone say that a certain confrence is predominate with each GLO?

If some of the people post on this site really check around, they will see that each GLO is somewhat regional!

The Female GLOs so much more than the Male GLOs! But, this still will hold true if some look.
