I've had an ING account for at least 5 years now. The interest rate is great (it's been more than 4% for what seems like forever). The only drawback is that you have to wait usually a couple of days to get any money as it has to transfer to an account from which you can retrieve cash directly. You might want to place a small amount of emergency money into that account but put the bulk of the money that you won't need to access w/in a day or so into ING.
