The issue, Elephant Walk, and I am going to step into this because you are a fellow razorback and I want to help you, is that you always present your opinions and arguments as if they are the last, final word on the subject.
Your comments rarely leave room for the option of something different occurring on your campus or within your chapter when common sense says that your experience is not the only way.
I happen to know that the relations between the GLO's and BGLO's are positive (you mentioned the step show, but totally ignored explaining to others online what a big event that is, how it involves the entire Greek community and goes a long way in providing opportunities for the groups to cooperate and interact.) No, the groups do not socialize together but they have different interests (as you mentioned) That doesn't make it a negative situation and that is what your comments implied.
You need to remember who and what you are representing. You tend to pigeonhole and stereotype so many topics that I am often frustrated with your narrow viewpoints that are stated as the absolute law because I KNOW that is not true on your campus.
Yes, you are entitled to your viewpoints, but I just want you to represent yourself (and the U of A) better. Sorry for giving you a "mom lecture, but it was time.
