Unfortunately I am all too aware of the little importance legacy status can sometimes have on getting into that particular house. I was cut by all 3 houses that I am a legacy to right before pref day, sooo.. yeah, it is pretty rough and I learned the hard way how little influence it can have when there are lots of other legacies going through.
The informal route is something I considered doing, but since I will be a junior it might not be as much of an option unfortunately. We shall see if I am courageous enough to put myself through the rigors of formal rush when the time comes..haha..
That is pretty neat to think about in terms of having AGD sisters my grandma's age and older. It is fun to hear her talk about her undergrad days and to still refer to her old friends as, so and so who was an AGD, Theta or Kappa when they were in school together. I love the history behind all of the different organizations.
