well, for my chapter of AKPsi i started an alumni giving fund through which alumni can specify exactly how the money is to be used...with 3 options (house payment, scholarship fund, and investment for the chapter). therefore, there's no concern the money will go to a keg, which i think will help with our alumni.
if a chapter doesnt have one of these types of programs, it could be beneficial.
