Hell, let 'em protest. If they think that is the best use of their time and resources, then sure, more power to them.

What I do find strange about this bunch (as opposed to those who are against the war, but less protest-prone, perhaps) is that most I've come across are the types who have nearly no contact with people in the military. I'm not saying that contact w/ military folks would change their mind, but I do find it strange that so many people with very tenuous connections to servicemen and women seem to be giving them "a voice."

I'm sure there are protesters with ample connections, and perhaps it is different in other parts of the country, but my experience with them has given me this impression.
