^^^^ You know, I said something similar to that to my husband. But then he pointed out that we don't know what kind of relationship they had. She may be not interested in having a sexual relationship with him. I mean, she's in the time of life when hormones are in flux, so it could be biological. Or it could be that she was tired of doing it with a naked mole-rat look alike. Maybe it was a shortcoming on his part... who knows. At any rate, I KNOW that I would be nowhere near my husband if he had to make a statement like that. He'd be facing that isht on his own. I might work to forgive him, but I'm probably not going to be in a benevolent mood and help him save a little political face.
And nittany, I haven't seen Colbert yet (it comes on a day behind here), but he's going to have to take down Matt Lauer. He used "Eliot Mess" on the Today Show this morning. I haven't checked Newsday or the Daily News, but the NY Post headline: HO NO! I cracked up.

Hormones in flux my arse.....FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS for a hoe????
I want to see the itemized receipt...what was she doing...charging by the stroke?
Adding extra for cuddling and spooning?
Getting bonuses for fellatio?
Giving him a discount if he proved that he was a cunning linguist???

Maybe he was into some freaky stuff (stuff his wife wouldn't do or stuff he couldn't bring himself to ask her to do because she's the mother of his kids)...weird fetish stuff like that Congressman who was found to be a client of a Washington DC madam and like to be diapered (I can't remember his name right now, and I don't want to be googling for it at work).
ETA: Just got home and looked it up...it was David Vitter.

You know what...it just struck me....if he spent $80K over time for hoe-ing, then he's been doing it for a LOOONG time.
Makes you wonder what other unaccounted funds he may have been spending and if he was with some of those same guys he took down...
Hmmm...somehow I seem to remember Marion Barry getting caught hoe-ing in DC too...LOL

According to the radio this morning, it was $80K over 10 years. That's a lot of play he's been getting. Plus, I think his youngest kid is like 14 or 15?
Ahh, Marion "Bitch Set Me Up!" Barry! The Buddy Cianci of crackheads!
