Which Chi Omega alumna received the Presidential Medal of Freedom during a ceremony in the East Room of the White House on November 5, 2007? Established in 1963, the Medal of Freedom is the highest civil honor a United States president can bestow.

a.) Pat Schroeder, Pi Beta Chapter (UMinnesota)
b.) Louise Bryant, Psi Alpha Chapter (UOregon)
c.) Ellen Gilchrist, Sigma Epsilon Chapter (Vanderbilt)
d.) Harper Lee, Nu Beta Chapter (UAlabama)

I didn't think anyone would believe George W. Bush would recognize Pat Schroeder for anything!

I have to admit, I'd never heard of A, B or C so just spent some time googling them - VERY interesting backgrounds, especially Louise Bryant.

NutBrnHair - I'm always amazed at how you can always come up with questions! HQ should hire you to work in some sort of historian department, you really retain everything!!
