I suspect it's a least as much because it only happened in your head. I was pretty careful to make clear I spoke only of my experience rather than any universal claims.

ETA: I apologize for the "only in your head" part of this post. I am a little unclear about how what I said earlier could have been considered any kind of universal claim or that it could have devalued the experiences of other people.

Sometimes that is necessary but it usually isn't and is generally annoying. Like the world will explode if you make a statement that others have to actually use their brains to figure out isn't 100% applicable.
