I think Anya is going to take it. She has won many competitions. She is very unique. She is confident, but not over confident. She shows personality, but her personality is not overwhelming. I think she has it in the bag.

Whitney is my first choice and Anya is actually my distant second.

But.... I have a feeling Anya will actually win, because as I said earlier, the judges love to pick girls with accents who really can't talk well. (And this is a personal opinion, I just don't think Anya is articulate)

Agreed with 33girl that Anya looks better with heavy makeup. IMO the only one of the final 4 that looks good without heavy makeup is Whitney.

ETA: I previously thought Anya was a lock to win, but with the preview at the end of Wednesday's episode I'm not so sure anymore. It looks like she screws up the Cover Girl commercial.

I just got a call from my sister screaming "BIG GIRLS UNITE!!!" so I take it West Coasters have had sufficient chance to see the outcome, but I put up the disclaimer just in case.

I was so incredibly happy with the winner! But I was super shocked, too. I thought for sure Anya had it locked up until Fatima was eliminated. I figured out a pattern back around Cycle 6--the girl whose name is called first in the last episode rarely ever wins. Usually, the girl who is almost elminated pulls it out in the end. I've thought for weeks Anya would take it, but when Anya was called first, I knew whoever the judges kept would win. I am sooooo ridiculously happy, I know my neighbors think I'm nuts because I sure did scream the walls down.

I wish it had been Toccara who was the first full-figured winner, but I'm happy with this, too!

When the final 3 was revealed I knew/hoped it'd be Whitney in the end.

1) Big girls get worked over on ANTM.
2) Girls named Whitney get worked over.

There are skinny girls named Whitney, right?
3) Fatima and Anya aren't "Cover Girl" Commercial enough though they're both capable high fashion models.

Anybody know how long CG's contract with ANTM lasts? The first season it was Revlon and Adrienne beat Shannon. If they were the final two in any other season Shannon would have won because Adrienne couldn't really pull off Cover Girl. There's been many girls over the seasons that I couldn't help but think if it weren't for CG they would have had a better shot of at least going further.

I think it lasts a year (or until the next winner comes?). Yes, Adrienne would've caved to Shannon if it had been CG. What I don't get is why Fatima made it onto the show at her weight. There have been one or two girls in the past who didn't make it onto the show because they were too thin and that's not the image Tyra wanted to present. Fatima is a scary size zero and even a designer said she wouldn't book her because she's too thin. I wonder what it was (her talent, her story, etc.) that got her through? Nothing against her, just wondering.

What's her face won a few cycles ago and she's VERY skinny. But that Fatima girl is disgustingly, unhealth-looking skinny. A HORRIBLE role model for girls.
