Whether you agree with it or not, this article (courtesy of the Washington Post) does have an interesting aspect to the Democratic race.

I've been saying that very thing since Clinton's tantrums in my home state, but Krauthammer said it much better than I. Thanks for the link.

I agree, honey, that article was fab.
Although I have the feeling that if (God forbid) Hillary got elected, she'd do whatever she wants to do and tell Bill to go polish the silver. This is what she's always wanted and she married him because she felt he could help her get there. But once she's there - he's done.
Elizabeth & Bob Dole, that would be a different story.

A joke too bad to print?
A friend sent me an email about a joke that John McCain made back in 1998 that I had never heard before. Since I always take email forwards with a grain of salt, I decided to do some Googling and discovered it was true. It certainly makes me question his judgement and character, even though the joke was made 10 years ago. I found this Salon article with the joke:
A joke too bad to print?
HOW SEN. JOHN McCAIN'S TASTELESS TWO-LINER ABOUT CHELSEA CLINTON AND JANET RENO WAS CENSORED OUT OF THE NATION'S LEADING NEWSPAPERS.

Insane. That joke is even worse than Shuster's pimping comment, imo. I have now found a couple of instances where I don't get McCain's humor. Peppy, you bring this article to light, and just last night, McCain was talking to Dana Bash from CNN in a story for the "Situation Room" and called her a jerk (with a smile on his face, of course). But still. It just doesn't seem right.
