Congrats to your daughter and Kappa Kappa Gamma!

AFAIK, the only official fraternity ruling on wearing letters/insignia/Coat of Arms is that the badge cannot be worn by an uninitiated member. Everything else is fair game, though some chapters may have "traditions" of waiting until initiation to wear letters/CoA.

Also check out www.buykappa.com. That's the official Kappa merchandiser; there's lots of neat stuff on there!
