I have honestly never "nodded off." If anything I have
trouble doing so. This is why I always get stuck driving. There was one time when I was driving and I got to the point that I could go no further - I started breathing as if I were asleep, if that makes any sense...that slow, steady breathing. I got freaked out and pulled over at a hotel. The rate was too much for me, so I ran in and asked the hotel guy to watch my car and to call the police if anyone attacked me. I got an hour or so of sleep and continued on my way.
