				American Idol 7

A new season starts soon. Here's a link to an article about it. http://www.variety.com/VR1117978921.html
At least the producers admit that they are to blame for last season's catastrophe. At the same time, Simon Lythgoe says he's grateful for Sanjaya. Are you kidding me??? Sanjaya is the reason I stopped tuning in. The show was terrible because of him and I felt every episode revolved him and his hair and his lack of talent.

Hopefully this season will be better although I'm not nearly as psyched for it as I was for past seasons. I might watch the first episode and see how it is. If I notice that they are still showing more on the terrible singers during auditions than the good ones, I'll stop watching.

 | Me too. Not too long ago, you couldn't tell me not to watch it. I plan on watching the first episode as a test and if it is lame...on to something else.

I feel the same way I get in the zone come AI time but last year was so disappointing (especially after the high of Season 5)

I'm still not sure if I'll watch this season, but I will likely, at the very least check out the Dallas auditions.
Idol has bored me more and more every year.....

... and supposedly this year is supposed to be so "new & exciting" but I'm not sure how much more exciting it will be.

I'd loooooove it if they addressed 3 of the last few idols recently losing their contracts back to back (Katharine, Ruben & that Soul Train dude)... but I doubt they will.

With the writers' strike, what else is there to watch? I don't like the auditions part so I'll skip most of that, but once they go to Hollywood, I'll be watching.

I will watch it later, skip all the garbage, and see it in 20 minutes!

You know, I think it would be a LOT more fun if they set up cameras in that house they live in.

Supposedly the "new" part of American Idol this year is going to be showing more of the stories behind the people who advance... I guess they heard the masses when we said we were tired of the garbage last year!

			Poor Temptress.
What am I doing. I'm watching Idol again. It's like slowing down on the highway to watch a crash!

I am laughing at that girl Alexis (with the star earrings). She was the one who kept giving the camera the finger and thought she sounded like Janis Joplin. Best quote of the night, "I am going to pursue actressing."
Um yeah, you go ahead and do that.
