Excited for recruitment!!!

We start informal recruitment on Monday, and I'm super excited! This will be our Gamma class (we're such babies!). We currently have 28 members, which is pretty good for my school. I'm so excited to continue expanding the chapter!

Yay for recruitment! I have been helping out at Vanderbilt and things are so different than when I went through at Emory. I helped count ballots after 7 (seven!!) parties of skit round, and I finally left at 4am! The whole chapter was still there and some girls had 8am classes. It's insanity!! Pref round is tonight, and I'm going back to help count, but it should be an earlier night.

Congrats, EN! We had our first night of recruitment tonight (informal) and it went really well. I'll give a better update after bid day. :-)

Wow.. now that's a committment to advising! This past year the school I advise did an alternative formal recruitment that thankfully did not involve bid matching, so the latest I got home was 11:30. That is pretty late for me, though. I can't imagine being anywhere until 4am. Crazy.

Congrats to the Vandy Kappas! Lambda chapter starts informal recruitment on January 30. I can't wait!

We had an amazing turn out the first two nights. Tonight is the last night (kind of like pref night, but without the other sororities). I'll let you all know more details on bid day!

We have 10 new members! We are having a COB like event for people who couldn't come to the last event of recruitment, so I might be updating that number.

This is our Gamma class, and they bring our total to 38 members!

Update! Well, one of our new members had to drop out, but we had a COB event and voted afterwards...we now have twelve new members! Yay! I'm the marshal, so I've been typing my fingers off to send everyone e-mails with formal pledging details. I'm so excited!

Eta Epsilon starts formal recruitment next week! We're all psyched but nervous - this is a really important one for us since we're losing a lot of seniors this year...

Good luck! We just did informal recruitment and so far have 15 great girls for our Kappa Klass (yes, I love to use the K's to make horrible puns

) But, we're still COBing since Panhellenic raised our chapter totals. We're looking for quality AND quantity
