The day after V-day will be our 1-year anniversary (of dating). Yay! We're not gonna do something separate for Valentine's day 'cause that would be pointless. I don't know what we're doing on the 15th. Last year, we went to In-n-Out (it's a burger place, for you non-Californians!) I think we'll go somewhere a little nicer this year. Not sure what I'll get him.

My 21st bday is the day before valentine's day...and I'll be in Mexico. WOOT!
Honestly, everywhere is so freakin busy valentine's day. My best suggestion would be to do a nice dinner and a movie...AT HOME!!!
Then go out on the town a couple days later or that following weekend...so much less stressful than trying to find a reservation and fight the crowds on v-day...probably safer too.

This is my first single Valentine's Day since 2000(!!!!), but I don't feel bad at all about being single at Valentine's Day. I think it has something to do with not having any expectations or hopes for the day that could be dashed.
I may be going to San Francisco that weekend, though...I'm excited about the possibility!
