I didn't pay that much attention to GC when I was in school, unless I needed something
I checked it every so often, if I missed something I would get caught up or ask wtf was up, I think overall I didn't feel comfortable enough (and sometimes I still don't) to really express myself.
When I did decide to open my mouth, it was usually over something ridiculous like politics, and Rudey always enjoyed shutting me down.
Once I graduated, I rediscovered my love affair lol
