I would think if a chapter is doing informal then they are not at quota (for whatever reason, i.e. not full pledge class, older sister leaving, early graduation, etc...) and probably would not care if you are a sophomore. However, if they do not have an upperclass quota, depending on how competitive the school is, you may be looking at the same (or less) chapters during formal rush. Just some thoughts....
