My niece loves the Hills! This will make her very happy. Hopefully while I'm home for Christmas, I can get her into "Gossip Girl," but does a 12 year old really need to be watching that show?

if they show is like the book, then NO I wouldn't think a 12 year old should be watching that show.

Why not! I can't see how it's all that much different from the Hills! Plus I was all about 90210 when I was 12.

No, I don't think a 12 year old needs to be watching that. Too much sex/drugs/alcohol for a kid that young. Plus I think at 12, I'd have found the show really boring.
