Oo, no, but I bet I could sew one on! Then I could jingle-jangle my way all through the holidays! Great thought, thanks, Benz!

Yes - I found a pair of barely-used CK Jeans, when CK was HUGE.

I also found some NY&Co tops with the tags still on for $2.

A bunch of us dressed up as Jem and the Holograms one Halloween for Trick or Treating for Habitat for Humanity. We rocked the second hand stores, and had GREAT costumes.

We love to go "thriftin' " but we usually get household type stuff or stuff for my office, not clothes and NO bedding. I have my limits.

^^^ i bought a tie-dye shirt for an 80s party from a salvation army. who knows where it is now.

seriously, i havent worn anything from SA. partly cause i dont see the hype on it being cheap(er) than going shopping for new stuff. i aint never seen a cool shirt/jeans/shoes/purse for cheap, or even decent priced for "used" condition, so it wasnt worth it. and SA's smell awful. they can keep that stench.

Consignment stores are WAAAAAY different than the Salvation Army. They usually have designer clothing that to the man on the street is still expensive, but CHEAP compared to the original price. A lot of vintage/thrift shops are also very careful about what they take - it has to have some "fashion" value.

I've gotten some of my favorite things from vintage shops, thrift stores and the SA/Goodwill. The key is to go to a SA/Goodwill on the outskirts of a nice neighborhood. If you go to one in a town where the only store is Walmart, you'll find...a lot of used clothes from Walmart.

Define Second Hand Shop....

I have purchased items from designer runways at consignment shops in LA. Lucien Pillat Finet, Michael Kors, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior, St. John, Dolce and Gabbana. I also have purchased items from stores that buy out studio wordrobe departments: I have a belt that was worn on General Hospital and it is fabulous.

If you look hard enough you can find that diamond in the rough!
