We are allowed to wear it on our person (clothes and jewelry) but what I was always told it was in a more formal setting--"badge attire"
Even though we are allowed to use it after initiation, I seriously doubt we would be allowed to put it in a magazine. I think its the same logic as not being in the media (news, etc) wearing our letters.
WOW @ the Marie Claire article. I seriously hope an Alpha Phi doesn't work at the magazine, because I wouldn't want one of my sisters being associated with that!
