Soror Ivy's comment was not disturbing to me. I can kind of see how others might take offense to it. However, as her co-initiate, I know firsthand how she has personally struggled with her hair. Both of us had decided to get rid of our perms and go natural at one point. She didn't end up sticking with hers because she found her natural hair hard to manage. I didn't which is why I am still au naturale

. I think the root of the problem with us (black women) and our hair stems from our inpatience or unwillngness to manage our hair.
I threw away the creamy crack and will never go back (~4 years, sisterlocks newbie 2 months today!).
