The Girl Scout troops do get a percentage of sales, but I don't think it's very high.
I do buy from people at work whose daughters are Girl Scouts (particularly if the person in question is my boss  ) but other than that - I'd rather make a charitable contribution where 100% of my contribution goes to a good cause.
