don't know what to make of this...either this is true or gavin is just reallllly bitter
I think it's probably absolutely true. I've said from the beginning of Laguna Beach that I thought a lot of it was staged.

My favorite quote from Gavin's interview: "Except for Spencer, I hear he’s really like that."

I'm just curious about why this guy would want to say mean things about her in an interview. If he didn't have some sort of grudge or be fameseeking he wouldn't have done that.

On the staged note, a coworker of mine knows one of the girls on the show from high school and according to her, what's going on in their lives is real, but sometimes they have to stage the conversations...basically it's based on real stuff.

This week's episode was not that interesting. Although I think that if I were to meet Marc Jacobs I might show a little more interest lol.

Yes, perhaps show just a shred of respect by standing up and actually facing him. I don't care if you're meeting a famous person or the guy that runs the corner deli, when you're introduced to someone (and especially when it's someone who could have an impact on your future in his industry), you stand up!

EXACTLY. My girls and I were like, Did she realize she just shook
Marc Jacobs'
hand?? Not ol' boy Marc from around the corner, but Marc Jacobs! I mean, I see my supervisor and his boss pretty often, but I still STAND and shake their hand as a sign of respect. No home training.

actually, having gone through too many etiquette sessions (oh, the life of being a kid of a fed gov't employee and a military brat), a woman is not required to rise when acknowledging a male. a man should always stand though.

yes, he is marc jacobs, but technically she did nothing wrong.
