I've watched a lot of matchmaking reality shows and this was actually the first time it seemed to me that feelings on both sides were genuine.

We know Heather's been living in LA and she was on an episode of The Surreal Life with Vanilla Ice. I wouldn't be surprised if she was just on The Rock of Love to get famous.

Jes totally seems like she's a good person, and you could definitely see that in her mom and dad as well.

WOW I just watched the marathon and I'm so glad Jes won! I really thought it would be Heather since they seemed to click, but Jes was the best choice for something long-term. It cracks me up that Bret was still hanging onto the "heart broken by an exotic dancer" thing!

And I know it's TV, but with one girl then another girl the next night?? I DON'T THINK SO!!

She looks way better on her myspace than she did on the show.

I'm sad that she's friends with Lacey again. Lacey was just too crazy/weird.

Its kind of refreshing to see Heather without her big teased up hair, but I kinda miss it

That was a lot of the girls' concern. Brandi had mentioned it to Bret...so I wouldn't doubt it.

There were a few rumblings around webworld that the entire show was a hoax. I read that he was happily married to the mother of his two daughters (Kristi Lynn something or other) and living in Arizona. I read a few things that the show was to revamp his career and promote an album coming out in a couple weeks. It's interesting to think about though!

I can't remember where I read it (it was either Wikipedia or imdb.com) that Bret's still married to Kristi Lynn Gibson. The article did say (even before the show started) that he and Kristi Lynn were separated. It's likely the contestants were all aware of that as well.

I don't what kind of wife would let her husband live in a house of whore-like women just to re-vamp his career if they were really happily married. I just don't buy it.

He was here for a New Year's Eve concert last year (05-06) and I heard a couple of stories about him hooking up with girls.

If they really were hoaxing, I think it would have been more obviously scripted (like the Scott Baio show, which I think was a complete fabrication).
