Our cat ignored the leather furniture, but when we brought kitty #2 home, the two of them chase each other, launching from the arms of the couches and chair. So we have pin-pricks from their back paws, and superficial scratches. I too would love to know how to repair leather.

I know there are some leather upholstry kits out there (auto supply shops), but I have never tried them. You might want to check with a furniture store to see who they use when furniture comes in scratched. I know some stores will have minor upholstry repairs fixed.

my sofas are bycast leather --- anyone have any ideas on products to clean/condition?
Is conditioning even recommended for bycast leather?

Guardian has a product that cleans and conditions.

My dogs nails caused some pin pricks too. The pin pricks quickly became large rips (without additional help from the dog). No more leather in this house. At least I can sew (and re-sew) the damage she did to the upholstered sectional.
