Irish music

My father was in a folk group in the 60s, I sang at Renfairs and various festivals, and my sister and brother were in Paisley Close. Sister was lead singer for Gordian Knot back in the day . .. small, small Celtic music world!

My Irish hijack: A friend's sister competed in the local Rose of Tralee. She didn't win but it was a nice honor for the family.

Sorry to end your hijack.

Went to the Alumnae chapter meeting tonight. Kappa Alpha Theta at University of Nebraska - Lincoln has 33 new members from Formal Recruitment.

O.mi.gosh! I've heard of both Paisley Close AND Gordian Knot! I think they played either at a Renfair or on our annual Irish Weekend (which was last weekend here). If not there, one of the faires in DC. VERY small Celtic world!

And back on track:
ADPi at Pitt isn't releasing the exact number yet, but they took Quota Plus (Quota being 12) and had a couple bids to give yet tonight for Total! I am just so proud of these ladies!!

ETA: Alpha Delta Pi at Pitt took 17 new Alphas, and are at total!
