Yes he does. I don't know where it is right now (I can find it later), but CBS did a whole interview the other day about it. Eric IS America's voice, he can't really play for himself when it comes to voting.

And supposedly something BIG is happening in the house right now. Typically week 7 (this week) is where a big twist comes, you know, the whole "expect the unexpected" thing.

POSSIBLE SPOILER: Dick and Dani may have found something through the chess game. People are saying perhaps the coup d'etat. Who knows.

Oh Lawdy KD! I am not really liking this America's Player thing b/c I agree with an earlier post that some of the things "America" has Eric doing and voting is for laughs I think.

Highlight:

Did they find it yesterday? I know on AD last night Dick is thinking that he may not go home---he hasn't realized that Dustin was put up on purpose; he thinks the alliance is breaking up.

I am a bit nervous that RICHARD may not go home b/c I'm not sure how Eric will have to vote. With Zach you just don't know; Jen-I'm thinking she is going to vote Dick out by how she was talking last night but you never know. I just have this real twisted feeling that "America" will have Eric vote to keep RICHARD.

I'd be DARN surprised if Eric doesn't have to keep ED. ED's has the highest player ratings in BB history as a favourite. I mean, people may hate him on one hand, but America doesn't seem OK with letting him go anywhere.

On some of the live feeds, some of the houseguests have been complaining to each other that they feel like they are being pressured by the production people in the diary room to vote out Dustin and keep ED -- that is, until Big Brother tells them to stop discussing the diary room.

I've not seen anything like that whatsoever. My newspaper job is paying for me to watch the live feeds now (which stay on in the background of my computer all the time now), and I don't buy that.

Maybe Jen is the twist? I mean, who else would give up 1/2 the money? And she's just so... odd. I don't know.

Spoiler maybe: Jess and Eric seemed to have decided to vote Dustin out. Or rather, Eric seems to have convinced Jess it's the right thing to do and they've agreed upon it. (not that Jess can vote as HoH)

I can't speak from personal observation. I was just relying on Reality News Online's recap of the August 14 live feeds, which says:

Jen and Amber discuss their votes, and Jen mentions that she sometimes feels pressured by the diary room people to vote a certain way, as in keeping Dick this week. No wonder the producers want Dick to stay – his popularity on the CBS website is nearing 40% (the next most popular person is Daniele, with close to 15%). Big Brother tells Jen and Amber to stop talking about the diary room.

and

Eric goes to the diary room, and when he comes out, Jen says, “Here he comes, Mr. America.” This makes Eric nervous, and he asks Jen what she means by this. She doesn’t say anything. Eric tells Jessica that the diary room sessions involve a lot of leading questions that push the houseguests to keep Dick this week. Eric thinks that Dick is just so hated by the fans that the producers want to keep him.

Of course, I didn't pick up reading before that the last comment was coming from Eric, who obviously can't be honest about diary room conversations and may want to try and color perceptions to cover the fact that "America" will make him vote for Dustin.

You're actually getting paid to watch the live feeds? I don't know whether to be impressed or sympathetic.

I heard that on another message board too - but for last week's vote (between Kail and Eric).

Okay....I got back home right after Dustin was eliminated...now I half way don't even want to watch anymore b/c I feel like something is fishy---but I will probably keep watching anyway.

If you all don't mind, can somebody pleeeeeeease tell me how everyone voted???? I am so confused right now. Please help a sister out.
