lillady, you are correct -- Ina May was an established artist, studying in New York and Paris and illustrated her husband's book, The Veilled Empress; however, Allie also illustrared a book about grasshoppers for a professor at UA!

Chi Omega's First Rush Party

What event did Chi Omega Founder Jobelle Holcombe refer to as "our first rush and pledge party?"

a.) When Jobelle approached Allie Simmonds, a senior, in a stairwell landing in Old Main and asked her to be a member.

b.) In Spring 1896, when an organized gathering led to Psi Chapter's first pledge class.

c.) When Chi Chapter was chartered at Jessamine Institute in KY in 1898.

d.) When NPC numbers guru, Betty Woods, implemented release figures at University of Arkansas.

a.) Mu, Univ of California, Berkley
b.) Beta Kappa, Cal Poly, Pomona
c.) Kappa Lambda, UCSD
d.) Nu Alpha, Stanford

Kappa Lambda!

But I think the Stanford chapter was "revived" around the same time... hmmmm.

Kappa Lambda was installed April 13, 1991 and Nu Alpha was reinstated May 25, 1991.
