***Draft Update***

According to Yahoo:
Your live online draft is set for Sat Aug 11 10:00am PDT [ Add to My Calendar ], which is 1 day, 19 hours, and 44 minutes from now (test your system). Please arrive at least 10 minutes early since your draft will start promptly at the assigned time. You can rank your players up until 45 minutes before your draft.

The draft order will be randomly determined approximately 30 minutes before the draft begins.

Your Head-to-Head league will not be able to start the season if it contains an odd number of teams.

Currently, we have 9 teams, so we need at least one more team to play. Deadbear - would a late afternoon time on Sunday work for you, just thinking that way (I think) all players can participate in the live draft.

If it doesn't work, then we may just stick with the normal time, and I apologize for the conflicts

Unfortunately, no. On Sunday I'm taking my sister to lunch and to see Wicked, so I will pretty much be unavailable from about 12 noon Central Time on. It's her birthday, so we're also joining our parents and our brothers for dinner. Which means I won't get home until at least 9 PM.

The Saturday time still works well for me.

All right, we're going to keep the normal draft time - so tomorrow at 10am PDT is when the draft begins.

Quoting to reiterate this fact - if we don't get another player before 9 am (PDT) tomorrow, I'll create a "dummy" team so that we have an even number of teams.

I think if anyone knows of anyone interested, all you have to do is get the league info from the first page of this thread, rather than an email invite - I'm shutting the computer down for the night, but will be up early tomorrow if an email is needed

Not sure of the reasoning, but I just kept the settings from the previous years that we've done a GC league.

Live draft was pretty fun

A lot of the Yahoo! Leagues that I've been involved with in the past use 3 WRs. ESPN leagues tend to use 2 WRs. I think it's just what the default settings tend to be that the sites set up.

Hey commish...why did you add the 6 bench spots? The fun of FF is having a decent waiver wire. With so many bench options that goes away...
