scholarship
scholarship can be a difficult position! just a few ideas from our chapter: we have a scholarship book, everyone has their own page and keeps track of their grades, then at the end of the meeting when everyone has recorded their grades the scholarship chair announces the scholar of the week and that person gets a poster in the union building; we have a skip jar, for every class you skip you are suppposed to put a quarter in the jar, it's a great fundraising tool and it gets everyone involved in keeping each other on track and in class.
about getting your name out: we all eat lunch together in the union building and during rush we all eat dinner in the dining halls. having letter days helps so that everyone can see who is in the sorority and how close you all are. Posters in the union building are great if you are permitted. sponsor events or have fundraisers so that people can find out more about you.
