Yes, a chapter in African American history has just died--literally! Although blind and bound to a wheelchair, Brother Hill was active in the civil rights arena until his death. The gains we've made--which many younger people don't really appreciate and understand now--through the grace of God, is directly related to the fearless and tireless efforts of men and women like the Oliver Hills of our community. We aren't where are b/c times changed or people just got nicer and more progressive. People sacrificed and put their lives on the line for us now to "swagger" and "pop our collars, etc." I'd better stop, I'll start to preach!
