Study Hours are a committment for almost every sorority member. Each chapter of a particular sorority will conduct them differently. In my experience and those of my friends on other campuses, they're pretty flexible and allow you to study in the location and manner that works best for you-- you're given a set of min. (and realistic) number of hours to spend on class work and study time outside of classs each week. And you just track your hours and turn them in.

You may get some kind of incentive if you choose to study at the campus library or with a sister. It just depends on the chapter.

When you go through recruitment, you should ask each sorority about it's academic program. And throw in, "Tell me about study hours..." If you aren't satisified with the answer, add, "Where can members perform their study hours?" and so on.... Also, when you ask about the academic program, this is a great time to tell your recruiter about your academic achievements and to compliment the sorority's efforts with its academic program.
